Overview This interview was recorded as part of the About Us Voices of Southland collection. In this interview Johnny tells of his early life, education and being introduced to art. He goes on to describe his life experiences in NZ i.e. employment and the development of his sculpturing through experimenting with different mediums e.g. steel, fibre glass, bone and using stones for craving. His work is based on myths and old stories of Samoa.
