Biographical / Historical

Colin Mark Brayshaw [13/10/1918 - 19/04/1990] [WWII, No.15686].

Born in Whangarei to parents Bertie and Christina Grace [nee Aitken]. Listed as a dairy factory assistant in Invercargill before embarking.

Married Hazel Louisa Milne in 1943 and had two children. They lived on Tay Street, Hawthorndale, Invercargill after the war.

Colin worked as a mailman on the RD4 route, and also delivered bread for Millar-Lange. He later worked as a bailiff.
