Beaumont School
Beaumont School began as a household school in 1904, taken by retired teacher, W.Duncan. In July 1907, 4 parents built a school building - Messrs R.Casey, D.D.Macdonald (Manager Beaumont Station), J.Finn and D.J.Heenan. Beaumont was always a small school, the roll never being more than 12. The school intergrated with Nightcaps School in 1927.
