Scope and Contents Glass negative of a quilt made by the Heddon Bush Branch of the Red Cross Society. The quilt has a wide variety of images on it including horses, sheep, anchors, a person in traditional scottish dress and a british bulldog holding the british flag in its mouth. It also offers words of support. The images are signed with names or initials. The central date and title reads 1918 but numerous images/personal messages are dated 1917. Photographer unknown.

The cortege from the Drill Hall being led up the main street by an Army firing party carrying their arms facing down, followed by the Winton Municipal Band, the casket and two serviceman. The coffin covered with (most likely) a flag, six men walking alongside the waggon (pall-bearers), a covered carriage carrying family and pulled by two horses with a top-hatted man sitting outside holding the reins, more Army personnel, and the mourners (all men)....
