In this interview Muriel shares family history, her interest in horse riding, and friendships. She tells of her marriage to Raymond Gerken and of building their first home in Otatara. They built a second home on their property on Black Road Otarara. She describes the Otatara Community and some of its identities. She has a love for running an interest she shares with her son Jason.
