Overview
In this interview Doreen tells the story of her family history and their employment; the depression and the loss of the farm; her own education and employment until marriage and family. She tells the individual stories of her siblings’ lives and education. As well as describing the effects of the Influenza Epidemic of 1918 on her family, friends and the wider community of Waimahaka/Fortrose.
