I suppose it is about up to me to drop you a line but I suppose they give you the news from home. We are out on a job Railways & it is a good way behind the lines. Have been here a fortnight today & don’t know how long it will last. We are waiting to get a note from Bill or Harry as our Coy has had a bit of a smack up with Fritz & they

would be in it & I hope came through OK. The weather is rotten here just now. Snow & jolly cold wind blowing. We never got Macs parcel & won’t now. It is rotten as we were looking forward to getting some choc. We are both OK& doing all right. How are the kids doing. Ewen wrote to Kate today.
