Content Notes

The left pennant lists all the past winners. Park School won 1897, 1899 and 1903. South School won 1888 and 1904. Cental School (Middle) won 1902 and Marist School won 1900 and 1901. The lighter pennant has SSFC on it - South School Football Club?.

Handwritten on paper and cellotaped to the back of the copy is a note. It reads "42 Gammak Street, Temuka, 21-5-04. Dear Bob, My cobber Peter Butler 21 Hornbrook Street Temuka copied this for me. I think it is better than the original. With our compliments, Regards, Dick Newton." Then, in a different hand follows "(Son of AE in photo & nephew of H. Folley. A. E. Newton would be age 13)".
