This book records Annual Meetings and begins with a meeting of Subscribers, held in the Calcium Hall Library Room on 20/4/1911. Two females present, were elected on to the Committee. At that meeting it was decided that the library open weekly on Mondays, 7.30-8.30pm.
There is a break in the records after 14/7/1913 until 8 April 1918 when the only business was to appoint Geo. Duke in place of Mr Miller who had been acting as Treasurer, Secretary and Librarian.
Annual Meetings resume 5 May 1919 and continue to 18 April 1931 after which the organisation is referred to as 'Mechanics' Institute' until 1937. Then the "Calcium Library" met in the Isla Bank Hall......
Meetings continued annually and throughout the Second World War, until 21/4/1948, when a meeting was held to discuss costs, alterations/repairs,alternative uses of the Hall.
From 24 July 1948, the organisation is referred to as "Isla Bank Hall Committee".
1949 is concerned with finance and renovations to the Hall. At a General Meeting, hire charges and conditions of use by Groups, are set.
1950: AGM records appointment of officers, Hall Insurance, New Piano, Amendment to Hall Charges, maintenance of kitchen roof.
1951. No AGM.
