Wooden carving with an accompanying wooden information plaque. The name of the artwork is inlaid with paua shell.
Content Note
The names Nga Whao Riki, John Karaua Hamiora, James R, W. T. Waiariki and J. M. Pakai are clear on the back of the work. There are also two sets of what appear to be initials. All are carved into the wood.
One name on the reverse of the work appears to have been added later in vivid "James R. 89". This name also suggests the main works creation ran from 1986 - 1989.
