Biographical / Historical
The letters were collected by Annie (Balneaves) Robertson and on her death were passed to her daughter Margaret Wallace. Andrew Robertson (Margaret's brother) later transcribed them as well as the 1918 diary of Billy Robertson who was Annie's husband. Some of the letters were passed to John Balneaves the son of John (Doie) Balneaves but in 2019 returned to the original collection.
