11 letters from New Zealand authors Margaret Mahy, Joy Cowley and Beverley Dunlop, UK author Shirley Hughes, and the Royal Secretaries for the Queen Mother and Prince and Princess of Wales. Written in response to children writing to them during annual class book week. Adressed to pupils at Southland schools Clifden, Elston Lea, and St Theresa's, as well as Temuka Primary. Donated by the teacher of these children.
