Describes shops of WAIKIWI – shoes to bootmaker. Pond where ST. STEPHENS CHURCH is. Became part of the CHURCH when born. ORGANIST at 17.

18 years old learnt singing – taught it. Teaching piano – Uni intentions. Languages. MISS MAY wonderful teacher! The war ended – describes it – horns – whistles – no1 brother. MALCOLM HEADS father – AWARUA RADIO – very important during the war. No 2 brother. No 3 brother wounded WW2. Builder. Technical drawing at HARGEST – teacher) – MABEL MCKENZIE BLUFF

1945 Music Teacher – 3 pupils. 18 guineas 1st year. Exams – lost 2 pupils – Covid restrictions Zoom lessons – stopped. Family of teachers – 75 years at ST. STEPHENS playing. CHURCH – MUSIC TEACHERS – registered) WOMENS CLUB (BESSIE WALMSLEY) – entertaining them. Club 100 years old – PRESIDENT. Originally at TAY ST., by banks – Purchased section ESK ST., People gave money. A yearly charity concert. Circles: Music, Play Reading, Books – Travel, garden, games, Arts & Crafts. ROWENA BATSON – Antique treasures. Play reading – “fun, Music –work”
