City stopped at the river – COLLINGWOOD/WAIKIWI PRESTONVILLE. 2 Brewries BAY RD.,GRASMERE – tram cars – Primary & high school (1 penny rides). 1945 bus to school. Describes shops of WAIKIWI – shoes to bootmaker. Pond where ST. STEPHENS CHURCH is. Became part of the CHURCH when born. ORGANIST at 17.

CHURCH – MUSIC TEACHERS – registered) WOMENS CLUB (BESSIE WALMSLEY) – entertaining them. Club 100 years old – PRESIDENT. Originally at TAY ST., by banks – Purchased section ESK ST., People gave money. A yearly charity concert. Circles: Music, Play Reading, Books – Travel, garden, games, Arts & Crafts. ROWENA BATSON – Antique treasures. Play reading – “fun, Music –work”
