Overview

Meta tells of her family history and early childhood memories e.g. school, home, foods, dressmaker coming, childhood games, chores and interests. She looks at the outbreak of war; her marriage and preparation for this and their extensive honeymoon around the North Island. She gives a description of home and life on their farm and her involvement with Country Girls Club. In 1971 moved to Riverton. She gives a description catering fundraisers... to build a new church. They raised about $250,000. See more
