Overview

In this interview Bill recalls and reflects on his early life on the family farm at Hillend and the purchase of their property at Toropuke. He goes on to talk of his experiences in the anti-tank unit in Italy during the Second World War. He follows on with his return to the farm at Toropuke and how his experiences at war initially impacted on his life on his return. He looks at the improvements he made while farming the property, marriage and family; and at times compares happenings of today with back in early times.
