In the first interview Ack covers his family history, his education, marriage and life in Athol including in this weather conditions, railway services, the industry that goes around farming and social life e.g. dances, movies etc. He tells of various farming types used e.g. sheep and fescue as a cash crop. He also mentions goldmining at Nokomai. In the second interview Ack discusses, describes and reflects on his long association with the game of rugby through playing from grass roots up to being an All Black. Then moving to the side of Administration post playing years.
