This interview was recorded as part of the About Us Voices of Southland collection. In this interview Leicester tells of coming to Southland from Canterbury at the age of 16 and his career in Rugby becoming an All Black in 1978; later he spent 2 years coaching the Italian team. Jason also talks of his rugby career, his views on Southland and winning the Ranfurly Shield.
