Content Note
Written in pencil on the reverse is the date c1940s but due to name on bottom of photo (AB Hurst & Son) it will be 1952 or later.
Arthur Bendigo Hurst (1890 – 1964) established his photography business in 1920. It became AB Hurst & Son in 1952, and continued operating into the 1990s.
Buildings and signs that can be read are as follows: T. & G. Mutual Life Society, Stewart Chemist, Cosy Cafeteria, Self Help "Young", Woolworths, Singer Sewing Centre, Steans Bros, Hobbs, C.M.L, Pinocchio Milk Bar Cafeteria, The Charm Salon.
