Attached to page 766 are copies of undated Letters to Members regarding the amalgamation of various Labourers' Unions plus a Report dated June 1964.
Inside the front cover are the names and addresses of the Southland Sub-Branch Committee plus a number of loose papers: Minutes for 9/7/1944; Letter from Dept of Labour re: Construction Act 1959 - Industrial Safety Belts; Letter of Appreciation to Mr I.D.McLachlan for his work during construction of Tiwai Aluminium Smelter; Financial Report 31/3/1970; Extract from Southern Branch Minutes 10/12/1974; Letter 25/3/1974 stating an agreement between Southland Drivers' Union and the Labourer's Union re: provision of organising facilities for the Sthld Drivers' Union; Personal Message to Southland Members re: a decision of the Executive Councul 1975; Union Job News 5/6/1975; Southland Exec Committee New Letter; Envelope containing BNZ Bank Statement 1/10/1974; Letter to I.D.McLachlan re: a pay issue.
