Overview

Mervyn Tressler was born in Invercargill in 1926. In this interview, Mervyn gives details of his family background, education, occupations and hobbies. The interview focuses on movie making and the Southern Cine Club. Mervyn describes making a local version of the Charlie Chaplin movie `City lights' with Warren Sparks in the 1950s.
